I found this podcast whilst reading ACOTAR. John’s videos on Insta made me laugh out loud so finding these guys on a pod talking about my favourite books was a real win. Thank you for all the chat, theories, things I missed and cry counters…if you love fantasy books - this is your show 😊
I first dicovered you guys by watching the reels of Jon's reactions to ACOTAR books and so glad I dug deeper and found their podcast! As someone obsessed with with Sarah J. Maas, the magnificent wizard, I cannot express how awesome it was to find others with that same love! I love to hear the different view points and their humor as they read through the books! I love fourth wing and cant wait to check the other books you've done podcasts for as well!
I’m so excited to delve into the dungeon with an amazing crew. I’m totally enjoying this book. As a fellow princesses obviously Princess Donut is my favorite. I have played D&D and WOW (World of Warcraft) so some of the terminology and technicalities I’m pretty familiar with. I was so tempted to read more what a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for next week.
My favorite podcast! I found you right when I was starting TOG and it was so very fun to do my first read along with you all. I promptly binged everything and read along for all the other seasons.
Was a bit skeptical about Dungeon Crawler Carl but OMG Kyle did not steer us wrong throughly enjoying the book so far. Thank you for all the laughs.
I just found this podcast while searching for thoughts on Fourth Wing. After listening to all their episodes on the first book I am following their path while reading the second. They are such a fun dynamic with Con and Lauren being the experts and Jon and Kyle being the newcomers to the books like myself. I introduced my wife to the pod and she even picked a book to read based on things they have already covered so we can follow along with other books. Definitely would recommend them.

A lively, humor-forward book club show where four friends—Con, Lauren Moore, Jon, and Kyle—discuss popular fantasy series, balancing spoiler-free chapter breakdowns with theories, reactions, and playful banter. Episodes repeatedly emphasize community vibes, reader engagement, and long-running segments that fans love (like fan theories, inside jokes, and live reactions). A notable strength is the group's chemistry and approachable, chatty style that makes deep-dive fantasy discussions feel like you're hanging with friends. Visuals on YouTube and recurring talk of reading schedules or fandom events further differentiate it from typical review pods, appealing to both dedicated rereaders and first-time readers looking for a welcoming book club ... more
