  • Miss the dulcet tones

Bummed they moved this to short clips on NBC site. Not my preferred way of getting my sports/bet talk.

  • Bummer

5 star content. It’s a shame these two were moved to shorter, bite sized content. This podcast was brilliant & provided fascinating insight. You can’t get that in 1:30. Wish they would bring it back.

  • Keep the long form

Love the content especially long form shows. I also understand company direction. Maybe we can compromise and you do (at least) one 1:30+ long form show per week?

  • Great pod - really disappointing to hear it’s no more

In a crowded space BTE has become my favorite gambling pod. Consistently interesting and entertaining content presented by two really smart likable guys. Credit to both Jay and Drew that they’re able to produce such engaging stuff on a daily basis. So massively disappointed by the news that BTE is will be shorter, video content hidden away on the NBC website (who goes to the NBC Sports website for betting content?!) I won’t be checking the NBC website whilst walking the dog etc’ - so I guess it’... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

FL Draft #1 Pick, Travis Hunter and Ashton Jeanty Props + NBA Awards, Horse Races on Saturday
Q: Like, where do you stand when it comes to sort of handicapping the draft?
It's busy this time of year and I don't want to miss out on the value.
NCAA Tournament #1 Seeds, Arkansas and Indiana on the Bubble + Biggest Threat to the Thunder in the West?
Q: What makes you believe Kentucky, Missouri, A&M, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Georgia are over seeded or under seeded?
Kentucky is a three seed; they should be more of a four or five. Missouri is a three seed and they are hot right now, while A&M is likely a four or five. Georgia is a team I'm puzzled about, as they may not deserve a spot despite what the models suggest.
NCAA Tournament #1 Seeds, Arkansas and Indiana on the Bubble + Biggest Threat to the Thunder in the West?
Q: How do you see the whole field in general shaping up?
It's hard to say that an SEC race for the final 1C is more than likely. You got Alabama, you got Florida, you got Tennessee.
NFL Awards + Jalen Hurts and Travis Kelce Props with Aaron Schatz
Q: Do you think Hurts has regressed over the past two years?
I think a little bit; defenses may have figured out ways to stop him, especially against the blitz.
NFL Awards + Jalen Hurts and Travis Kelce Props with Aaron Schatz
Q: How do you balance positional value in defense with a cornerback versus traditional edge rusher candidates?
It is hard to balance different positions and figuring out the best all-around season for Defensive Player of the Year.
