Listening to these two privileged dudes talk about golf? Then joking about deportation? Horrible! Stick to the tv show
Honestly, there are much better thrones podcasts out there. These two have knowledge but clearly don’t do their research. It comes off as lazy. As a female listening, their perspectives are clearly lacking another point of view… Especially when covering HotD, a show with a lot of female lead characters- it’s pretty exhausting to listen to.
Do not listen to this unless you want the story spoiled for you. I just thought that it was like other podcast that would compare storyline to the book but this one does not even say it’s spoiler alert. They just tell you endings to lots of different characters well before it is shown on the show. I just heard two different things that I really wish I didn’t know.
I still like hearing these nerds’ cadences as I sleep, but cmon guys. If you don’t want to do it anymore, pull the plug.
I enjoy the discussion of the books but wow… if you haven’t read/watched before, it will all be spoiled for you.

A discussion-heavy, book-club–style show focused on the broader A Song of Ice and Fire universe, with weekly recaps of chapters, plus updates on TV adaptations, Winds of Winter, and GRR's writings. Episodes regularly blend deep lore, comparative book-to-screen analysis, and spoiler-filled debates about major plot turns, character arcs, and dragon lore, often weaving in guest theories and meta-commentary on authorial plans. A standout trait is the hosts' broad, reader-first approach combined with a passion for the source material, which attracts long-term fans who value careful analysis, humor, and a respectful tone even amid heated opinions. Notable is the clear commitment to serving both newcomers and expert fans with a mix of spoiler-frie... more
