  • Best MMA Pod

I’ve listened to all the top MMA podcasts, but this is by far the best out there. Bisping is always entertaining. A wealth of knowledge and anecdotes about the sport. Although the co-host chair has seen a lot of changes, Paul Felder is doing great. I hope he stays around for a long time. The hosts and producers have very good chemistry. The interviews are solid and the stories are entertaining without becoming rants (Helwani). Keep up the great work guys!

  • It still has its moments of greatness, but less of them.

Two UFC commentators ad-lib UFC commercials. A weird stoner guy mumbles conspiracies while kinda producing a podcast, and whatever Harrington does.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

649: MMA Beats Boxing
Q: Who do you think would be the best American fighter to compete on the White House card?
Sean Strickland is seen as potentially the best American fighter to headline as he represents a strong possibility, along with other notable names like Bo Nickal or even Kayla Harrison, based on their backgrounds and public personas.
649: MMA Beats Boxing
Q: Do you think we will ever see a real double champion again?
Dana kind of said he was done with them, but it could happen if someone like Ilya Toporia comes in and pulls off a win, but it largely depends on the landscape of the division and the fighters' willingness to chase two titles simultaneously.
644: UFC 318 Recap
Q: What is the biggest regret of your career?
Paul Felder reflects that it would be not fighting more when he was younger and seizing opportunities sooner, especially after not fighting for a while due to the pandemic.
643: Jones Wants Aspinall at the White House!
Q: Is this a problem for the UFC being such an Americanized sport with the time zones, the amount of UFC events held in America? Or could we be seeing a change in how the UFC operates?
I think it's such a global sport that I don't know if the lack of American champions is a problem. Fans can resonate with fighters from all over the world.
643: Jones Wants Aspinall at the White House!
Q: Do you think that Ilia Topuria will now get the one, the only introduction from Bruce Buffer or do you think that he hasn't really earned that yet?
I just don't think he has that aura that Poetan had, and I don't think getting a win over champions qualifies getting that introduction.
