  • Politics

I enjoy listening to podcast, and if I’m gonna listen to one about honeybees, I don’t care about your political views anymore than I care about a musician or basketballs players political views. I unfollowed after several snide remarks, such as whether someone is gonna lose their job or “disrupter in chief”. As a veteran, I find that extremely disrespectful regardless of your affiliation! Adios!

BTPS: Behind the Bees of "The Rivals of Amziah King"
Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how you got involved with the movie?

BTPS: Behind the Bees of "The Rivals of Amziah King"
Q: For our listeners who know nothing about the movie, can you give us an overview of what the film is about?
The film centers on Amziah King, a beekeeper who runs multiple apiaries and navigates a Southern beekeeping community; it blends humor, drama, and crime elements as the main character's world intersects with the protagonist's foster daughter, leading to a plot about family, bees, and community tensions.
The State of Honey Bee Health: A Tri-States Expert Panel (397)
Q: What is giving you hope for the state of honey bee health in the next 24 months?
Hope comes from better collaboration with scientists, a broader toolkit of treatments, improved nutrition options, and stronger awareness of forage and landscape management that supports bees beyond peak bloom.
Winning At Honey with Stephanie: Preparing Honey for Competition
Q: Why is the Honey Judges Association moving toward a formal structure?
To create clearer governance, more engagement from members, and standardized rules across states, which helps elevates the professionalism and consistency of honey judging.
Winning At Honey with Stephanie: Preparing Honey for Competition
Q: What would you recommend for someone new to honey shows?
Start with the black jar as an entry to get comfortable with the process, then bottle your show honey weeks ahead, store properly, and ensure the fill level and jar appearance meet the rules; this builds familiarity with judging and confidence to try more categories.
