1.5 Years Booked Out…How? — Anthony Youn, MD (Ep. 345)
Q: What would you say is one of the biggest mistakes you've made so far that others can learn from?
One of the mistakes that I have made is buying certain types of devices, thinking that if I buy it, patients will come, which is not true.
1.5 Years Booked Out…How? — Anthony Youn, MD (Ep. 345)
Q: Any tips on hiring, motivating, firing?
My employees, in general, stay long-term with me because I treat them well, I pay them well, and there's a really good culture in the office.
1.5 Years Booked Out…How? — Anthony Youn, MD (Ep. 345)
Q: Do you have a good automatic lead gen process setup?
That's something where I think I haven't done as well in. So the issue right now, Catherine, is I have a two and a half year waiting list.
1.5 Years Booked Out…How? — Anthony Youn, MD (Ep. 345)
Q: When you do social media, your reach is to the whole world, so would your life be easier if it was all under one roof?
If I had associates where we could share the OR, then that would make more sense. So ideally, if I had one associate, then I think opening one OR would make a lot of sense.
1.5 Years Booked Out…How? — Anthony Youn, MD (Ep. 345)
Q: How did you get from fellowship to private practice? Was it a zigzag road or a pretty straight shot?
It was a pretty straight shot. I started in the suburbs of Detroit and opened up my practice basically from scratch, and now I've been in my 21st year of practice.
