The narrator adds his own subjective opinions with way too much yelling! Battlecast is the bottom ten of Podcasts that I’ve tried and left.
I absolutely love your show! You do great research and dive pretty deep into great subjects. Please, please do something about the volume spikes. I have to drive with my hand on the volume. It won’t keep me from listening but it would be nice to set the volume and leave it. A minor gripe in comparison to the quality of the show.
Host not so subtly throws in comments heavily implying South Africa & Soweto were better during apartheid..? Scary stuff. Also implies he enjoys homelessness etc because he thinks they deserve it. He does list books he sources his material from so 1 star for that 👍😶

I’ve been a long time listener of this podcast, appreciating Dr. Wolf‘s depth of research on his topics. However, this last episode’s endless preaching of being an angry, “traditional “ male is simply just too much. I’ve had a 40 year career with our country’s great military services, and the faux macho attitude of men like this is simply not appreciated. Sadly, this is my last listen.
