BastardQuest is the embodiment, in podcast form, of the phrase "play stupid games, win stupid prizes." Seriously, if you aren't entertained by octogenarian ex-courtesans solving murders, horribly inappropriate jokes about hobbits, and black olive-flavored vape, what are you even doing with your life? Subscribe. It's funny!
Funny clips, Awesome games, just a bunch of friends having fun while playing games. From space-made Jalapeños poppers to post apocalyptic pirate ships that beach themselves, every episode has some wild content littered with humor and crazy action. My go to when working!
Well, as the title says, what a breath of fresh air! This is the best rpg podcast I have ever heard, and that’s saying something. The guys don’t take it too seriously and you can tell they genuinely enjoy the process of playing all of these games and it shows! I had to support them on Patreon to ensure I got all of the content. Can’t wait to hear my name used for an NPC that they brutally massacre.
BastardQuest is a close as an actual play show can get to how most games actually go. There's role-playing, but it never feels pretentious or overtly performative. You can tell they're playing the game first and foremost, and acting second.
Just discovered these guys after trying to find an Actual Play of Achtung!Cthulhu. Then I listened to their GI Joe run. After that, I devoured their entire library then signed up for their Patreon for more.
These guys are hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud every episode. If you like TTRPGs, irreverent humor and fun, follow this podcast. If you don’t, I don’t want to know you.
