  • Great podcast, and a great takedown of Trey Daubert

Rob, great show. Love the insight and your ability to get players and managers to open up and be real.

Also, your mature and measured approach to the Trey Daubert fiasco was a thing of beauty. You asked him POINT-BLANK to give you all the things he wanted to talk about and he said “I need to look them up.” 😂 What an absolute tool. You took the high road as he exposed himself for the absolute amateur he is. Well done.

Also, it’s not that interesting to have Joe Kelly on, even though I thought he... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

BIB on the Radio: Keep An Eye On Brayan Bello
Q: Why do you think the team felt the need to pursue Bregman and then pivot to other options if they didn't land him?
The discussion suggests the team wanted more punch and veteran leadership in the lineup, and while Durbin and Anthony show potential, they needed a clear plan to maintain offensive depth, especially against tough left-handed pitching.
BIB on the Go: Johan Oviedo Is More Excited Than Ever For A Baseball Season
Q: Congratulations on the good camp so far. What has been the biggest difference in terms of how you approach things with a new team?
He explains you have to prove yourself to a new group, show who you are beyond the uniform, and balance competing at the highest level with staying true to yourself.
BIB on the Radio: Bradfo Is Picking The Blue Jays
Q: What does Roman Anthony's role as the alpha mean for the Red Sox this season?
Anthony could carry a heavy workload and set the tone for the lineup, illustrating a premium on leadership from a very young player and signaling the organization's confidence in his ability to handle big-market pressure.
BIB on the Radio: Bradfo Is Picking The Blue Jays
Q: Which teams in the AL East do you think are the frontrunners this year?
All four teams—Blue Jays, Yankees, Red Sox, and Orioles—look competitive, with the Jays and Red Sox perhaps slightly ahead due to youth and depth, but everything is tight and can swing with pitching depth and health.
2-Minute Grill: Garrett Crochet Takes Bradfo Inside Opening Day
Q: What does Opening Day feel like for you, and how does it differ from other starts?
It feels special because there's extra attention and a bigger moment, but I try to approach it the same way as any start—focus on executing my plan and giving the team a chance to win. The buildup is there, but I stay locked in on pitch selection and preparation.
