  • My favorite podcast

I’m currently on vacation with my son in Greenville because of the comments Ian made about how great it is. I’m staying in a hotel directly across from Fluor Field.

I saw a game last night, and catching another today. Great city, the falls are beautiful and the food is great. Awesome recommendation.

I’ve been listening to the podcast for a longtime. Very entertaining and informative.

    Keep up the great work!

    Thanks,

    Ken

  • Great Show

I love the knowledge these guys bring to the table. Very thoughtful and smart hosts. My only issue is Ian. He talks over the other host too much which is super annoying to me. He needs to be patient and listen before saying what is on his mind

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

SP Pod #381: Pike Week
Q: What does it mean when a player has a 50 grade curveball that could wind up being a 60 with more development?
It indicates the player can occasionally throw high-quality curveballs, but needs more consistency to reliably produce that quality regularly.
SP Pod #380: Connelly Early is here and AFL rosters are out
Q: What are the projections for Connelly Early and Payton Tolle going into next season?
Early could continue to develop and possibly be a backend starter while Tolle may need more time to refine his skills in the minors before being a reliable option.
SP Pod #379: Rolling with Tolle
Q: What was your initial reaction when you saw the news that Payton Tolle was coming up?
I was excited. You know, it's been a player that, you know, we've all been kind of on since... the moment we stepped foot in spring training.
SP Pod #377: All the Anthony That Money Could Buy
Q: Is Campbell a first base only guy?
Not yet, as he still has some versatility, but if he is locked in as a first baseman, it definitely diminishes his value.
SP Pod #377: All the Anthony That Money Could Buy
Q: Would you approach Marcel Meyer for an extension?
No, I wouldn't extend him right now as I need to see his health first.
