Such an amazing and honest look into the trials and tribulations of playing for dance; expert advice and relatable dialogue.
Hugely interesting podcast. I know how inspired I was by class pianists but wonderful to hear your perspectives from the keyboard side. Can't get enough of this.
It’s a great antidote to more
Super interesting and insightful podcast! Even though I have been dancing myself for more than 15 years and all the ballet sequences are like a mantra in my head, I have never thought of a ballet class from the pianist’s perspective. Listening to these bright people with years of experience accompanying dance classes and to master D.Yow is truly inspiring. What a great idea! more
I am not a ballet dancer nor a pianist any further than a moderately musical upbringing (which, sadly, wasn’t yesterday), but I love dance and I love music. This is just the most fascinating podcast for any amateur enthusiast. The lively dynamics between the podcast team disguise their phenomenal experience and professionalism. This is a fun and hugely entertaining, as well as wonderfully informative, listen. Only one warning: you’ll be hooked!
