  • Incredible journalism

I’m really loving this podcast. It’s kind of frenetic, which works for my chaotic brain—keeps my attention. I know Jake

was brave after listening to his previous work but this podcast takes it to another level. Even Rojava during violent conflict seemed like it would be safer than the Brazilian favela.

Also, for all the folks complaining about the commercials—cool that you feel entitled to the work of someone risking their life for free. Cooler Zone Media is $5/mo or less than $50/year. I get... more

  • Good content, spoiled by Ads

Interesting podcast but the content to advert ratio is needing looked at. Skip to around 3 mins in for the start, then at around 8 mins then there is another 3 mins

  • Perverse, but…

Fascinating like rubbernecking at a bloody car crash or staying after accidentally clicking on a kinky porn site. A report on really perverse behaviour— you wonder why it was made, but keep on watching.

Luckily, the long commercial breaks bring you back to the real world.
