Words cannot express how indebted I am to have found this podcast and community! It is because of Shannon and her guests that we have changed the trajectory of our life as a family for the better. I have yet to find another place with such a wealth of information and encouragement within the ASD community. • Great podcast but!

Great podcast with tons of great information. I just listened to your episode on food and found it super interesting. But I have to point out that the symptoms you describe experiencing as an allergy to chocolate and ice cream are NOT food allergy!

As someone who is a parent to a peanut allergic kid it’s important that you characterize this stuff correctly. You describe symptoms by saying something like the food was not “sitting well with you” or that you can’t eat a lot of ice cream like you ... more

I wish the episode list would provide a short blurb regarding the topic being discussed ...right now it either says "like autism live on Facebook" or it gives the name of the person or organization being interviewed (which is not helpful if you are unfamiliar with the person/organization).

Also, I wish there was an option to have audio only. Video podcasts are glitchy on my iPad and there is no nee... more

Q: What are the early signs that a child might benefit from speech services, and how should families begin the evaluation process?
