思い込みの激しさと純粋な信念の狭間で、彼が見出した“信仰”、それは、太陽やひまわりといった自然の中に神を見出す、孤独な魂の探求だった。
牧師の家に生まれ、神を求めて絵筆をとったフィンセント・ファン・ゴッホ。たった10年の創作の中で2000点を描き上げた彼は、光を描こうとするほど闇に引きずり込まれていきました。弟テオの支えを受けながらも、報われぬ愛と孤独に苛まれた人生。それでも彼の絵は、誰よりも強く「生きること」を照らし続けています。今回の放送では、そんなゴッホの“美しい破滅”をたどります。
