So, as always, great storytelling. Payne is definitely in the right line of work. But the fact is what dude said toward the end about Payne not being able to go into the hood looking like he does (white) means an insider did all of this. No one likes to believe it could be “one of us”. But it always ends up being one of us.
Another great series by the Tenderfoot team and Payne Lindsay. One of the only + subscriptions I pay for.
Really like Paynes work. I got hooked with the Tara Grinstead case. I listened multiple times to the whole show. I have listened to the ATL Monster on Wayne Williams. Another great production. What I didn’t like, giving guys who have been hooked by Wayne’s manipulation continue to push a narrative that it was the Klan that was snatching up these young black males. Total nonsense.
