  • Best golf instruction in the business

I try to get lessons instead of learning by podcast or YouTube. This team knows what they are talking about and they are the only ones I use to validate what a personal coach would tell me.

  • They’ve Given Me Hope

I’m 63 yrs young and started back to the game last year after 12 years off (Not that I was that good back then). I could not get my swing working in any consistency, so I was about to quit the game completely. I watched so many videos up to that point that I end up with a pretzel swing that left me more confused, twisted and frustrated. I remembered watching a YouTube video last year with Mike and Shaun. I searched them on YouTube and committed to rebuilding my golf game using only their instruc... more

  • Basics focus

I enjoy your discussion on the basics - whether it’s setup, grip, takeaway or whatever, it’s valuable information for making improvements. Every year I deal with minor changes from my normal setup and swing that happen without my being aware. Getting back to small basic fundamentals helps me get back to normal.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Your Brain Won’t Let You Swing Faster (Here's How to Flip The Switch ON)
Q: Can you explain the warm-up progression that Eddie uses and why it leads to higher speeds?
The warm-up primes the nervous system and fast-twitch fibers safely by gradually exposing the body to the exact patterns and rotations used in golf, allowing the brain to rate-code the speed it can safely reach, which unlocks higher club head and ball speeds when the driver is used.
Your Brain Won’t Let You Swing Faster (Here's How to Flip The Switch ON)
Q: So how did you transfer your back-injury-driven insight into the sports performance work you do now?
The key was finding a rotation-based, functionally relevant way to activate and condition the body that translates directly to a golf swing, backed by collaboration with others (like a Mayo Clinic partner) and practical on-patient applications to build a portable, seven-line athletic framework.
Golf's Most Confusing Book Finally Explained! (Featuring Brian Manzella)
Q: What was Homer Kelly trying to accomplish with The Golfing Machine?
He aimed to describe the golf swing in a way that could be taught to beginners through a flexible classification system, not to dictate a single perfect swing; the book was meant to be a scaffold for understanding, with room for interpretation and evolution as tools and measurements advanced.
He Gained 28 Yards of Driver Carry in 4 Weeks (Real Speed Training Results)
Q: What's been the most challenging part of this training and how have you addressed it?
The toughest part has been learning to swing faster while maintaining control and proper sequencing; the guests notes that combining speed work with technique awareness and using the Swing Coach app helped map movements that yield real gains without sacrificing form.
He Gained 28 Yards of Driver Carry in 4 Weeks (Real Speed Training Results)
Q: Walk us through what you've done in the past month to achieve these gains.
Over seven sessions, starting with a controlled protocol using the HIITS driver, Rotex stretching, and structured swing reps, the guest tracked speed and ball speed with a professional monitor, gradually increasing intensity while balancing warmups and on-course application to ensure practical speed translates to distance on the course.
