Reviews

  • Great Content, Bad Sound Quality

    I love the information provided.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to listen due low sound quality. It’s too bad that something so simple as good sound quality on a Podcast is neglected when sharing this level of information.

A couple of Lavaliere Mics is really all you need. There’s a lot of inexpensive options for good sound quality for the novice.

Again, the content, when audible, is excellent.

  • Content Great, Audio quality low

Overall great information, up to date on what’s happening in the market but the quality and leveling of sound with all the different speakers is horrific in my opinion. Need to invest in a better audio program to help with sound leveling and overall use better equipment when recording. Sometimes I skip a episode because I can either barley hear it or it’s just to loud/distorted to listen.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Biomass Beat: The future of biomass in SAF with Nova Pangaea
Q: Are regulatory frameworks you're talking about the UK's proposed revenue certainty mechanism, and how does that help staff projects get off the ground?
The revenue certainty mechanism acts as a guaranteed price which reduces price risk for early projects, improving bankability and making it more feasible to secure financing and move from design to construction and operation.
SAF Insights: What’s next for Thailand’s Bangchak in SAF & biofuels?
Q: What are the near-term expansion plans for HVO and future feedstock strategies?
HVO production remains small for now, with plans to expand, starting with UCO as the primary feedstock and then potentially diversifying to PFAD or PFAT in consultation with customers, depending on acceptance and supplier agreements.
SAF Insights: What’s next for Thailand’s Bangchak in SAF & biofuels?
Q: Would it be correct to say that most, if not all, production volumes are safe given current export restrictions on HVO?
Yes, the plan is to produce SAF primarily with a small amount of HVO, and any BioNavTar by-product is managed with a focus on SAF volumes, under regulatory constraints and government orders.
SAF Insights: What’s next for Thailand’s Bangchak in SAF & biofuels?
Q: Were there any sort of learning points that you can share with maybe other players in the market?
The learnings include recognizing SAF as not just a new product line but a credibility and standard issue, and committing to full ISEC certification to ensure buyers can rely on Bangchak's SAF and its supply chain.
Metal Movers: Can the UK build a lithium industry before it's too late?
Q: Just how far off the milestone of FID, of commercial, do you think you are now?
Wrathall explains that the feasibility study is done and FID is targeted for next year, with continued progress through planning and public consultations. He emphasizes that while permitting is lengthy, the project is moving steadily toward FID and eventual production.
