  • I love how even difficult to understand topics are explained in a simple easy to follow way. Also it’s very helpful that every episode he presents data, history, and/or scripture. To back up everything he says and give us something we can go study on our own. This podcast is truly doing God’s work and spreading His truth.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Is It Wrong for Christians to Be Patriotic?
Q: Is there a danger in conflating national identity with Christian faith for believers?
Yes, the danger lies in treating a nation as the ultimate kingdom or imposing Christian standards on secular society; believers must maintain a heavenly citizenship first, while engaging responsibly in civic life and seeking the common good through biblical principles.
Is It Wrong for Christians to Be Patriotic?
Q: How should Christians balance patriotism with their faith and biblical obligations?
Christians should love their country and pray for it, participate in democratic processes, and seek to influence society with godly values, but never worship the nation or elevate national identity above obedience to God; avoid Christian nationalism and prioritize Scripture as the ultimate authority.
The Gifts of Healing: A Gift for Some or a Sign for All?
Q: How should believers approach healing in daily life and church services?
Believers should pray for healing when appropriate, trust in God for the outcome, and recognize that the Spirit moves as He wills; faith is the key, and healing can occur through both personal prayer and church leadership prayer.
The Gifts of Healing: A Gift for Some or a Sign for All?
Q: What is the gifts of healing, and how does it relate to the other gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12?
The gifts of healing are one aspect of the broader Spirit-led gifts; while some may seem more prominently associated with healing in practice, the gifts belong to the Spirit and can be exercised by anyone who is Spirit-filled when faith and need align, though certain individuals may be especially blessed in that area.
Are There “Heaven or Hell” Rules for Christians?
Q: Is attendance at church or adherence to modesty rules a heaven-or-hell issue?
Not necessarily. While neglecting church or violating core teachings can be detrimental, framing these as ultimate issues misses the broader aim of living by faith and love, with obedience flowing from a sincere relationship with God.
