  • Apostolic excellence!

This podcast is amazing. I was late to the party and discovered this podcast about a year ago, and have been loving it ever since.

I love how Jamie asks just enough questions to where we get more out of what the guests are saying. She never talks over the guests to where they start to lose what they came to talk about. Thats got to be a difficult balance to master, and I’ve never seen it done better on a podcast before. Great work! Keep it up and may the Lord continue to bless you!! ❤️

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Protecting Boundaries with Jennifer Howell
Q: What was a turning point in your healing process, and how has that shaped how you help others today?
The turning point came when I shared my testimony with a large group of teenage girls, which helped many realize they weren't alone and sparked a shift from viewing myself as a victim to embracing a victorious identity in Christ. Since then, I've emphasized prayer, counseling, and open conversations to help others heal.
Party Prayer with Cindy Fish
Q: How does Party Prayer work in everyday life for families?
We use four-minute blocks per letter to keep it manageable for kids, and we model it by praying with them, setting timers, and sharing prayers that reflect real-life needs and gratitude, which helps kids grow comfortable talking to God.
Party Prayer with Cindy Fish
Q: What inspired you to write this children's book?
I wanted a simple, actionable framework that kids and parents could use together at home and church, so I adapted a prayer model my family found transformative and turned it into a colorful, engaging tool for daily conversation with God.
Answering the Call with Pamela Shepard - Part Two
Q: Did anyone visit you guys while you were there, and how did that impact your work and your family?
Visitors came intermittently, providing encouragement and confirmation of the mission, while most of the spiritual and practical leadership came from within the local community and from occasional visiting pastors; the experience reinforced resilience and the importance of community support.
Answering the Call with Pamela Shepard - Part Two
Q: A couple of questions that I have in mind to ask is, going back to the very beginning, how did you handle loneliness and being away from home for four years with young children?
Pamela explains that she leaned on faith and international friends, accepted that loneliness is part of mission life, and found strength in daily faith practices and the sense of calling, with moments of relief when God provided companionship and purpose through ministry.
