The blitz podcast was an improvement from the first one. I like that this one was more organized and we knew what subjects would be touched upon in each part. I thought that this was extremely thorough for your first podcast! Throughout the brief yet informative session, the audience was exposed to mind-opening ideas on how society is influenced by five key components based off of Jonathan Haidt. Personally, I enjoyed the allusions to more common experiences, such as rivalry sport teams and teenage jobs. I thought that this was a great first episode and if this is an indication of future episodes, it will be a great source of learning outside the classroom. The definition of partisanship served as the foundation for the episode. Both speakers referenced the definition in their sports analogies. I hesitate giving this podcast 5 stars because that would me it is perfect and there is no room for improvement. However I really did enjoy this first episode, it held my attention from start to finish and even got me thinking the whole time. Expanding beyond the classroom walls is something really revolutionary in our community and I hope more teachers will follow trend.
