AntiSocial

BBC Radio 4

Peace talks for the culture wars. In an era of polarisation, propaganda and pile-ons, AntiSocial offers an alternative: understanding, facts, and respect. Each week, Adam Fleming takes on a topic that's generating conflict on social media, blogs, talk shows and phone-ins and helps you work out what the arguments are really about.

  • Calm, intelligent debate

I’m so glad I came across this podcast. No people shouting over each other, just different points of view from a few articulate guests and a great host. Plus it’s topical so you can seem more informed at the dinner table than you were just an hour before!

  • It’s a book where the main villain is the press

Your podcasts are always enjoyable and entertaining but have you intentionally ignored the fact that Harry is calling out people like you? Even Elsa happily contradicts herself “nobody leaks negative things to the press anymore” then says “Williams friends have been telling the press things”.

  • Great Podcast

I love this podcast, Adam is so calm and balanced, which is so important when dealing with such complex and controversial issues. No dogmatism just thoughtfulness.

  • Antisocial - Trigger Warnings

Good series, but please try to get contributors who not say “yea” and “you Know” ever couple of seconds!

  • Conservative “dialogue” disguised as well-rounded discussion and the antidote to cancel culture.

“Two sides” are presented, but the conversation is not designed to build understanding, only to divide groups further. Avoid if you are not simply interested in maintaining the status quo.
