I’ve been an avid podcast listener for a long time, but Answering the Call quickly moved to the top of the list of podcasts I look forward to each week. I am constantly recommending episodes to Aggies and non-Aggies alike, especially parents of young athletes. As someone who is lucky enough to have the opportunity to watch and attend A&M athletic events, the podcast has increased my enjoyment of games significantly. Unfortunately, the need to humanize young student athletes, especially in the co... more

Q: What's been your favorite game, whether it's home or away, that you've experienced so far here at A&M?
My favorite game was the one we played in Tampa against Florida State, it just felt like we were so on the same page as a team.
Josh Holloway | S2 E29
Q: What's the best piece of advice that you've taken away from basketball?
Always have fun with the game, and do the things that you don't want to do often because those are the things that will make you better in the long run.
Josh Holloway | S2 E29
Q: Did you always dream or have the goal of becoming a basketball player?
Yes, since I was really four years old, I've been playing basketball, like real competitive basketball.
Amanda Scarborough | S2 E30
Q: What is your best piece of advice to those who are chasing big dreams, whether it's a specific career, maybe they want to be an entrepreneur or become a college or professional athlete?
Start. You just have to start, even if you don't know all the answers.
Amanda Scarborough | S2 E30
Q: What is your advice to athletes who are seeking out those opportunities to play their sport at the next level?
Keep going. There's a place for you because I'm lucky that, we're lucky we get to be a part of A&M, but I do think, especially, I'm speaking in like our little softball world now, there's a place for somebody that wants to continue to play, even if it's not D1, if it's D2 or Junior College.
