Long time listener of this podcast. Anime lover and anime hater host an anime podcast. It’s a good time.
I stumbled across this podcast while searching for anime to show my kids (11 &9) and it has helped some. Unfortunately the majority of anime is made by perverts so I didn’t end up with a treasure trove here. I did encounter a wonderful experience of hearing a realistic approach to anime as a whole. Holy hell! I was expecting an anime podcast. Instead I get some rambling about anime until the two host got bored and brainstormed new names for ethnic groups. I thought it was a bad joke at first like all their other attempts at comedy, but they do it every episode and no one has laughed once. Every single time they recapped existing slurs for new listeners. It wasn’t until episode 100 that they branched put to women.
