I’ve been listening to this excellent podcast for several years as Lantern Jack and his distinguished guests did deep dives into Plato’s great masterpiece, waiting for them to get to the final book and the so-called Myth of Er. At last they’ve done it in their superb birds-eye-view of the entire Republic. Hopefully they will go even deeper in a future episode and talk about Plato’s depiction of the afterlife as a place of reward, punishment and reincarnation…
