I’ve been a Tolkien fan and LOTR fan all my life. Even before reading the novels, my parents would tell me about hobbits and ents and wizards when we were in nature and wild places. When the first movie came out I was 9 years old, and loved the story and started reading the books a couple years later in middle school. This podcast gives great chapter-by-chapter breakdowns of the Lord of the Rings books and the Hobbit! I was always a fan of the movies and was curious about all of the lore of the books but was intimidated by reading them because I thought I’d get lost or lose motivation.
