  • Too many distracting giggles

I really like the content of this podcast. if I could change one thing, I'd ask the female moderator to cut out the unnecessary giggling. It doesn't work well in audio, and fills too much time. It's a high-pitched distraction and inappropriate during serious topics.I think she means well and has good topics, but this nervous habit seems to undercut the high value of the content.

  • Stop, laughing while you are interviewing!

The interviewer needs to stop laughing so much especially at inappropriate times… it is not funny, for example, discussing people falling to their deaths! The subject matter is super interesting, but it’s almost impossible to listen to it based on the interviewers immature and constant inappropriate laughter

Denali Basecamp is actually a remote airport and it's a starting point for climbers, with many challenges such as weather and maintenance.
22 Seasons at Denali Base Camp, with Lisa Roderick

My name is Lisa Roderick, and I wrote a book called A Place Among Giants about my 22 seasons, working up as the Denali Basecamp manager.
Suffer Well: A Climbing (and Life) Philosophy, with Kelly Cordes
Q: Can you tell me about your suffer well philosophy?
The suffer well notion came as we knew that on the Azeem Ridge route, we were going to suffer, and so I embraced that mindset and wrote in my journal to be mentally strong and suffer well.
Hand Holds: The Many Cruxes of Parenting and Climbing
Q: What inspired this project?
The experience of feeling isolated after becoming a parent and the lack of resources tailored for parents who climb motivated me to create Hand Holds.
