  • Loved but…

The show on cars was great but the constant talking about white men as the boogie man is getting old. Focus on empowerment not continuing stereotypes on a large population of our country, it’s cruel and you wouldn’t tolerate it for one second.

  • Annoying presenter.

Why does everyone think they have what it takes? It’s arrogant to presume one has a polished enough presentation style to subject “like” listeners to “like” your juvenile style.

  • Secrets for a healthy brain

I just listened to your podcast on secrets for a healthy brain. While I enjoyed most of it and learned some things as well, I was very disappointed in the doctor being interviewed about the brain when she talked about alcohol. For starters, alcohol has been categorized as a carcinogen by the American Cancer Association. And many health groups, including the world health organization (WHO) have classified alcohol as they’re being no safe amount to drink. Just because we’ve been drinking alcohol s... more

Tips For A Better Workout From Peloton’s Tunde Oyeneyin
Q: What advice helps people stay consistent or restart after a lull?
Adopt the 10-minute rule, set a timer for 10 minutes, usually you'll want to continue beyond that; combine with accountability partners and a mindset that starts with small, manageable steps.
Tips For A Better Workout From Peloton’s Tunde Oyeneyin
Q: How should cardio and strength be scheduled relative to each other?
The sequence depends on goals: if training for running, run first then strength; if building overall strength, do strength first to build muscle and then run; both approaches have merit depending on priorities.
Tips For A Better Workout From Peloton’s Tunde Oyeneyin
Q: What should we be doing beforehand to set up for a good workout?
Prepare in two to three days before your workout with proper recovery, fueling, and mobility work like foam rolling; in the 20 minutes before you start, focus on warming up and activating key muscles such as the glutes, with lighter movements to turn on the muscles before heavier work.
Unpacking the Truth About Sugar
Q: Lily asks how to avoid hidden sugar in everyday foods; what tips do you have?
Look at the ingredient list (first five ingredients matter most) and check added sugar on the Nutrition Facts panel; aim for lower daily added sugar and consider balancing meals with fiber and protein to slow absorption.
Unpacking the Truth About Sugar
Q: Jillian asks, why do we crave sugar and can sugar be addictive?
There is evidence sugar can activate reward centers in the brain, but cravings are shaped by biology and environment; moderation and mindful planning help manage them rather than labeling sugar as inherently addictive.
