Two men killed. No one charged. A botched emergency response. And a family’s desperate search for the truth.
One tragic night in 2018, what began as an NRL grand final party in a quiet town on the Queensland coast spiralled into a storm of lies, drunken embellishment and a bungled emergency response. By dawn, two men - Tom Davy & Corey Christensen - were dead, killed by a teenager they’d never m... more

Any story with an insensible loss of lives is always tragic. However the attempts of this podcast to vilify and villainise Dean is frankly disgusting and entirely biased. The only thing this podcast should have been investigating is the response of emergency services, there is the absolute failure to all of these young men and women. The focus on Dean not telling his side of the story is outright frustrating to listen to. WE ALL HEARD HIS SIDE OF THE STORY ON THE 000 CALLS.
Apparently you should ask strange men who break down your door and assault you if - when they’re not violently drunk - they’re “good people” with families. Australia has a DV problem with women and children dying weekly and I see why.
You are a disgusting individual, the way you have portrayed Dean is disgraceful. Would not listen to you or recommend you. Pathetic.
Sad case to be honest. My heart goes out to Tim and Cory’s family for their loss, but also to Dean and his family, for the loss of his innocence and loss of faith in protection in this circumstance.
I truly felt for Dean who was trying to assist a young lady who was claiming terror. It’s such a shame emergency services failed this boy and did not send help when requested, which could have avoided this whole ordeal. My heart breaks for Dean, but also for the parents/family of the Tom who... more
A not very satisfying attempt to dig up an old case and create a controversy. Mediocre.
