My full empathy is with Dean. He called the police and was let down by them. He even committed to have stabbed two men. My question so far: Why didn‘t the three men call the police if they really thought Candace was in danger?
The journalist is so bias, says he is not, but he is! This story could have been told so much better. The interview with the retired detective was poor. Leave Dean alone! There were 3 men at his home and they broke in! Police failed to protect Dean. As for the men that lost their lives, I have no doubt they were good men, but unfortunately when men and women run in packs with alcohol their behaviour can change. Do a better job telling this story and don’t be as bias!
As the title says
The moral of the story is don’t get completely wasted and expect to make good decisions. Trust Channel Nine to produce this biased rubbish. The binge drinking bogan culture and lack luster country police are the most at blame.
Heard an ad for ICE and immediately turned off. Won’t be listening if you take money from dictatorships

This podcast investigates a tragic incident in a quiet Queensland town where a chaotic night led to the deaths of two men following an NRL Grand Final party. It explores the aftermath of the event, including the alleged missteps of emergency responders and the legal implications of the case, which remains unresolved years later.
