very good podcast, stay’s on topic, good audio, well worth a listen
The best warmachine/hordes podcast I have heard. It's good to hear UK voices on this subject as it makes it more relevant for me. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoy how these guys report their games and give great insight on their mistakes and victories. A real boon for those trying to take their game 'to the next level'. Plus they don't take themselves too seriously.
This is a good podcast and the contributers have interesting things to say but they do tend to drag out topics for at little longer than at least I find them interesting. There are some great gems of information in every episode, but you may find yourself gritting your teeth to get to it.
This is a great pod which I enjoy listening to as I paint. I am a 20/80 gamer/painter however want to game more and be competitive. Listening to the podcast has given me some great ideas for making some nasty lists! Keep up the good work guys. Would be good to have a painting hobby section? Maybe hobby tips, new terrain reviews etc?
Great podcast and benefit to the community. No ranting or pointless drivel. Each episode is clearly structured and aims to inform people of lessons learnt along with more specific tactics around various units or lists. Also includes interesting debate and discussion of the UK tournament scene. Really enjoy the show and look forward to meeting you guys properly on the tournament scene in 2012 :)
This is one of the UK regional podcasts that I listen to regularly despite not being in the UK. As a club based group I expect there to be some stuff that doesn't really matter to me like local tourneys. That being said, I don't mind listening to regional stuff at all - it is fun for me to hear what is going on in my hobby in the rest of the world. It is an informal podcast (which I like) that covers a wide variety of aspects of the hobby. I always look forward to listening when I see there ... more
Without doubt the best "tournament focused" Warmachine & Hordes podcast out there, Seems to find the right balance between being informative and amusing, whilst not alienating newer or veteran players. Probably my favourite podcast out of the 30+ I listen to.
Sadly, Nathan is a lot meaner in real life and chump-bashed me (with no cuddles afterwards) in a "friendly" game. He's a very bad man...
Rich once gave me a hug!
It sounds like a microphone was just left in the middle of the room while a bunch of friends got together. Honestly, after about 15-20 minutes of listening, I forgot what the subject of the podcast I downloaded was, I had to look it up to realize it was supposed to be a Hordes/Warmachine podcast.
This is one of my favourite pod casts to listen to! The hosts entertain while breaking down there experiences form gaming & events they've been to, to taking the time to help new players by explains how things are done & ways in which to help counter them! All in all a enjoyable listen that will make you smile & help your insight in to the game......& some entertaining guests as well!
I've been playing hordes since a certain Angelius was released back in 2007. Over that time I have tried to listen to many podcasts but this is the first that has really grabbed my attention. so well done guys and keep it up. T
One of my new favourites. As a newish player I love the 101 sections in particular. Great stuff - even if at times I need a Northern to English translator ;)
Great new podcast, well worth a listen for both experienced and new gamers alike. The hosts have managed to get this balance right, by explaining all the tricks and tactics in their games, yet (briefly) stopping to explain abilities as they go along, so that everyone knows the key info. Another valuable addition to the Hordes and Warmachine podcasting scene....
[and if you listen very carefully, you can hear the whippets in the background....]
Very positive start with Episode 1. It got 10 times better with Episode 2. Love the Mr X concept - it had me in stitches. Love the way you review games. Love the Room 101 stuff. Nice to see you guys relaxing when recording as well now as shown by Nathan's karaoke antics. I am looking forward to see how the show will develop in the future. Well done guys and Good Luck for the future episodes!
