Love the podcast and it’s a mainstay of my listening. I don’t fish rivers as much nowadays and don’t have a strong opinion either way on the closed season, but would have loved the episode on the closed season to have been a debate including a representative from the environment agency to hear both sides of this topic. Would have been a super interesting debate to listen to!

So I got into fishing as an 8 year old, my neighbour used to encourage me to go all the time. I was adopted when I was 5 by a couple who divorced shortly after so I threw myself into fishing.
