  • Amazing Podcast

My only reason for not rating this 5* is due to guest “influencers”. It might just be me, but I get sick of hearing what the same 2 or 3 influencers have to say about topics, they have all got their own platforms to discuss that.

I come here to listen to other peoples opinions not theirs on repeat. I much prefer the guest professionals on this podcast as they offer a far more in depth understanding and reality to things.

Overall: An amazing podcast with a good pace not found on others. Subject... more

  • Finally a great theme park podcast!

Most other theme park podcasts are now talking about hotels, tickets, food or surveys. This isn’t why we enjoy the hearing about what’s going on in the industry! Parkcast talks all about attractions, lands, theming etc. it’s always a good listen. Looking forward to more coverage on the upcoming UK Universal park.

  • Great Theme Park Podcast

Been listening since the 2024 reboot/re-theme and always enjoy the content from the team. A slightly more adult tone than other places, with gold guests, genuine reviews that covers news and “evergreen” topics. Please keep it going

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S4 Ep6: How do you solve a problem like RAP?
Q: If you could save one rollercoaster, which one would you save and why?
Hayley selects Nemesis at Alton Towers as her UK pick, citing its enduring iconic status, the thrill of the ride, and the joy of experiencing it on a full stomach in the morning, while acknowledging its recent revival as a positive sign for UK heritage coasters.
S4 Ep8: Theme Park Enthusiast Insights
Q: What inspired Katapult to conduct this large-scale survey of theme park fans?
The team wanted to understand guest motivations beyond anecdotal opinions, using the 80-20 rule and large-scale feedback from super fans to guide design decisions and improve guest experiences.
S4 Ep4: Supporting Smaller Parks with Coaster Dad
Q: Is it your classic Disney Universal?
Yeah, it's my eldest daughter's 21st and my youngest daughter's 16th, so I'm going to be skint taking them all the way forward.
S4 Ep4: Supporting Smaller Parks with Coaster Dad
Q: Have you got somewhere that's like your number one, like I really want to make sure I get there?
I do have a list of about 30 parks I'm going to try and hit up this year, including some big boys.
S3 Ep19: An Epic Adventure
Q: Do you think that the five days was enough to get all three of those parks in?
For just doing Universal, yeah, we had to do three park days during those five days.
