  • Poor presenting

Sorry Andrew Musgrove is so poor as a presenter - he knows very little about football and his only emotional and calling for sucking all the time. The other presenters are excellent but we need to get rid of this presenter when he was away. It was much better showing. I listened to every single one, but his presenting his lack of knowledge his whiny voice stops me and many other supporters from listening please replace

  • Seattle Toon Fan Love this podcast!

I have been a Newcastle United supporter for about 15 years - since Seattle homegrown player DeAndre Yedlin transferred there. I found the EIBW podcast about two years ago and have rarely missed an episode since. It helps me feel connected to the club from so far away. I love Gibbo who is incredible at providing history for the club. Love this podcast!

  • Great content, audio levels need work.

Hey, Andrew. Love the show and appreciate the thoughtful contributions from you and your guests. Like some others listeners, I find your audio levels to be significantly lower than ALL of my other podcasts. Sure, I can turn up the volume, but I then get annoying alerts saying I have exceeded my headphone 7-day exposure limits. I’m sure if you sorted this out it would be appreciated by your growing audience. Keep up the great work. Tony.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Newcastle United Q&A: The impact of missing out on Champions League football + why Toon WON'T shop in relegation bin
Q: What is the impact of no European football on Newcastle's ability to sign players this summer?
Not having Champions League football weakens Newcastle's appeal to top-level players, reducing the perceived prestige and financial lure, which likely makes recruitment harder and could force smarter, possibly less splashy signings.
Newcastle United talking to NEW investors as 'spectacular' hopes for stadium project announcement shared
Q: Is there any sign that Newcastle's home for the next generation is tied to this investor, or are the plans moving independently?
The hosts note that plans for the stadium or expansion will proceed regardless, with the investor potentially funding but not being the sole driver; the situation is described as ongoing conversations rather than a finalized deal.
Newcastle United talking to NEW investors as 'spectacular' hopes for stadium project announcement shared
Q: Can you give us a bit more detail on what you're doing and what it means for Newcastle United going forward?
Lee Ryder explains that investors have stepped forward to discuss a minority stake, with the focus around the stadium; talks involve partners, sponsors, and a broader plan beyond a single check, including potential development options and how this fits with Newcastle's long-term strategy.
Newcastle United Q&A: Who do you sell? Bruno or Tonali | Why James Trafford should be a top summer priority
Q: What is the transfer priority for Newcastle this summer?
The hosts discuss a range of priorities, including whether to pursue a new out-and-out goalscorer, a younger goalkeeper, and potential midfield or attacking reinforcements, emphasizing that a balance between replacing aging squad members and adding young talent is central to the strategy.
Newcastle United Q&A: ⚫⚪ The Brutal Truth About Newcastle’s Summer Transfer Plans
Q: What are the main transfer priorities this summer, especially in defense and midfield?
The discussion highlights the need for several signings across defense (full-backs, goalkeepers) and midfield, aiming to upgrade depth and establish a balanced spine with experienced players and academy graduates.
