  • Poor presenting

Sorry Andrew Musgrove is so poor as a presenter - he knows very little about football and his only emotional and calling for sucking all the time. The other presenters are excellent but we need to get rid of this presenter when he was away. It was much better showing. I listened to every single one, but his presenting his lack of knowledge his whiny voice stops me and many other supporters from listening please replace

  • Seattle Toon Fan Love this podcast!

I have been a Newcastle United supporter for about 15 years - since Seattle homegrown player DeAndre Yedlin transferred there. I found the EIBW podcast about two years ago and have rarely missed an episode since. It helps me feel connected to the club from so far away. I love Gibbo who is incredible at providing history for the club. Love this podcast!

  • Great content, audio levels need work.

Hey, Andrew. Love the show and appreciate the thoughtful contributions from you and your guests. Like some others listeners, I find your audio levels to be significantly lower than ALL of my other podcasts. Sure, I can turn up the volume, but I then get annoying alerts saying I have exceeded my headphone 7-day exposure limits. I’m sure if you sorted this out it would be appreciated by your growing audience. Keep up the great work. Tony.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

⚠️ 'WE ARE AWARE' - Matthias Jaissle's official unveiling as he makes transfer admission
Q: Have you made a decision on captaincy during this transition?
No, a clear decision on captaincy had not been made yet as the club navigates a period of change and leadership reshaping; focus remains on strengthening the squad and guiding the team day by day.
⚠️ 'WE ARE AWARE' - Matthias Jaissle's official unveiling as he makes transfer admission
Q: Matthias, what did you feel when you walked up to St James' Park for the first time and heard the crowd?
The initial feeling was goosebumps and a big smile, really special moments with the crowd and staff; the welcome has been unbelievable and sets a positive tone for embracing the club's energy.
Newcastle United urged to show ambition in the transfer market or risk losing MORE stars
Q: Is Liam Delap worth ÂŁ40 million for Newcastle, given his form and injury record?
The panel argues it's a high-risk investment unless the price comes down, suggesting that Delap could be a backup option or a rotational striker rather than a guaranteed 20-goal-a-season starter, and that Newcastle should weigh it against other targets and the overall budget.
Newcastle United urged to show ambition in the transfer market or risk losing MORE stars
Q: Do you think the World Cup could be the making of Yoane Wissa and Anthony Elanga for Newcastle?
Yes, their strong World Cup showings could boost Newcastle's forward options and market; if they carry that momentum into pre-season and the next campaign, it would help justify the club's transfer strategy and aid recruitment. However, long-term impact depends on staying fit and delivering consistent performances.
Newcastle United Q&A: The impact of missing out on Champions League football + why Toon WON'T shop in relegation bin
Q: What is the impact of no European football on Newcastle's ability to sign players this summer?
Not having Champions League football weakens Newcastle's appeal to top-level players, reducing the perceived prestige and financial lure, which likely makes recruitment harder and could force smarter, possibly less splashy signings.
