  • Thoughtful, intelligent arguments about Christianity & religion

I have been listening to this podcast for about a year and it is my favorite! Episodes that were a highlight for me were interviews with J Warner Wallace and Greg Koukl. I appreciate that he gives respect to the opposing side and even evaluates why a person may come to that conclusion in a thoughtful way, instead of using disrespectful generalizations that I have heRd many Christian speakers use. I also appreciate the wide variety and depth of topics about all things Christian apologetics. Abdu-... more

  • Easy listen for anyone

You don’t need to be a theologian or well-versed in “big” words. For anyone who is interested in learning more about the evidence that continuously supports the likelihood that the Bible is truth versus mythology or “blind” faith, then this is the podcast to listen to. I’ve loved Abdu’s teachings from the beginning.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

University Students Question the Credibility of Christianity LIVE | Ep 102
Q: Would you say there is a single determining factor in conversion experiences across religions?
The host notes that people often experience a form of religious ecstasy or realization, but argues that such experiences do not determine the truth of a religion; rather, the evidence, historical claims, and the resurrection are what should be decisive.
University Students Question the Credibility of Christianity LIVE | Ep 102
Q: What happens to someone who is born, lives, and dies without ever having the opportunity to hear the gospel?
The guest suggests that God's universal knowledge and mercy could address such scenarios, including possibilities of visions or dreams that reveal the gospel, while affirming the exclusivity of salvation through Christ for those who hear the gospel, but not necessarily condemning those who never hear it outright.
Does Christianity Make Sense Any More? AI, Polygamy, Suffering, and More | Ep 101
Q: What makes Jesus unique among world religious figures?
Jesus uniquely claims and substantiates his identity through resurrection, which distinguishes Christian salvation from other faiths that do not claim a resurrected savior.
Did Grace REPLACE the Law? (Viewer Questions) | Ep 97
Q: Final question for this episode is on emotions. And QGen123 asks this, I was told that we should not be ruled by our feelings, but by what the Bible says. How do I deal with negative emotions when the Bible says X?
Feelings can be unreliable but are not worthless; the Bible validates honest emotions, and apologetics can help by anchoring belief in the solid foundation of truth, so feelings can align with facts and strengthen faith.
Did Grace REPLACE the Law? (Viewer Questions) | Ep 97
Q: So, let's see. We were asked, it's a question on the law. We are unbound of the law, yet we cannot sin freely lest we are judged. Yes? Question mark?
The relationship is that the law remains relevant as a moral guide and a pointer to the heart of God; believers are not saved by the law but are empowered by grace to live out the law in love, fulfilled by Christ, which means we follow its moral core without being under ceremonial constraints.
