I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this podcast. I’ve always loved Alison’s music, but this has been a real joy to learn more about her life. Love her latest album Key too.

Just finished listening to this podcast. What a great format - bite-size chunks focussing on all the highlights of Alison’s long and interesting career but in in their entirety giving plenty of space to focus on the ups and downs and detail of those key minutes and otherness of this intriguing singer’s life. Would love to hear other career interviews in this format.

A thoughtful, emotional funny and nostalgic walk through 40 years of one of the most treasured artists.

This podcast made me laugh out loud and towards the end I did have a small cry.

I’ve been a fan of Alison’s work for over 40 years - both solo and as a member of Yazoo - but as a US fan, we didn’t often get to see her or hear from her on TV or in the press (as often happened with so many UK acts) so I’ve loved getting a chance to hear about her journey as a solo artist. I’ve been a fan of Alison since day 1. I love hearing her recount things and get her perspective which in turn reveals the type of artist and person she is. Bravo for putting this together. Living in the states we don’t hear much about Alison. This makes me feel just a little bit closer to her. xo
