  • Pondering, cerebral

The premise of the show is good, but the discussion I listened to was tortured. There is a place for nuanced points but it seems like every declaration by the guest generated a very deep follow up question to tease apart some point, which really makes for a slow, ponderous show.

It’s a neat trick to get people to enjoy learning something new, and Jeff and company pull it off every episode. Oh, and the “Can AI help me pick a dog?” episode... more
