Adventures in Erylia is collaborative storytelling show that blurs the lines between a TTRPG actual play and an audio drama. The narrative is shaped through 5 friends' recorded Dungeons and Dragons sessions, then the listening experience is enhanced with content editing for story pace, background setting ambience, mood fitting music, and sound effects.

Definitely some better real-play podcasts out there. Audio is well-edited, but the story and personalities get boring pretty quickly.
I have been binge-listening the last couple of months and am now all caught up now. This is clearly one of the best real-play podcasts out there and I need more much much more. What am I going to do with all the freed up time now that I’m caught up did I say I need more? I don’t know what they could do better and I have no idea what they do wrong.
Low energy, boring conversations and RP. I’m sure they’re enjoying themselves, but I don’t think anyone listening is

Just want to say what a great job this cast and Damian the DM has done! Erylia is a fantastic setting that has been cooked up by Damian that gives a feel of a very fleshed out world, filled with politics, lore, and cities galore. As the party progresses through the Mieveht arc, you can really see what has been put together to have this city feel real and to organically transition the players through the different casts of the city living. While listening to t... more
These guys are obviously having a great time together, but I feel like the new kid at school who has no friends, doesn’t understand the group dynamics and doesn’t know the inside jokes. The players get off track very easily with chatting that is uninteresting to an outside listener. Combats are tedious. When there is action eventually someone pipes in with a distracting comment that ruins the build-up. Not family friendly due to language and content. I’m only in season one, and I still intend to... more
Another great actual play podcast! It sounds absolutely beautiful and is quickly becoming a personal fav.
Want adventure? Want laughs? Want expertly done sound effects well then here is the show for you. Each episode is so well assembled it makes for an excellent listening experience! Get in there!
This is a really fun show.
This group has the true dynamic of long-term friends siting around the table...and the right mix of fantasy and a few laughs!
This group has managed to clue in the audience on the story line that occurred before they started and this really helps out with how late they started recording. The storyline grows as you go on and the audio quality is pretty sound plus there is some decent background music as well.

Low energy, low quality. Tons of better actual plays out 5 there.
I just discovered this podcast and am hooked. Great story, engaging cast with good role playing and excellent sound quality.
Looking forward to hearing more!
A couple of things to say about this podcast:
1) The production value is amazing, sounds are crisp, edits are seamless, the music is on point
2) You guys did something right off the bat that really impressed me: You stopped, caught up the listeners on what happened earlier, and did it in an engagin way that gave a taste of the party while still discussing game design, Critical Role didn't even do that
3) The adventure is really interesting and fun to listen to, awesome job!
Super fun group of friends. Also love how the audio quality gets better and better as the episodes go on. This is what D&D really is. Funny interactions and a good story. Everything a good game should have.
