Jeff and Elena are wonderful, informative guests. Safety first!
I just found this podcast and have listened to a few episodes. The hosts are clearly very well acquainted with the Adirondacks and are able to share a lot of interesting information and to bring on quirky and interesting visitors. Listening has made me want to visit so that I can see all of the places that they talk about.
I love this podcast so much. I learn about many restaurants and interesting places to visit on future trips. I did not enjoy the episode, though ,with the Director of the Weekender hotel chain. The hour seemed like one long, very corporate sounding commercial. Personally I preferred the Mom and Pop motels.
I am so glad I found this podcast at the 2025 Hike-A-Thon. I am new to the area and wanted to make the most out of it. This podcast has helped me find places I would not normally go to. I have fallen in love with loons, learned the difference between the high peaks and low peaks, and have found fun places to shop. I have found the best foods at places like Oscar’s smokehouse and shopping at places like a crossroads. I got to enjoy so many festivals and learned where the best foliage drives are. ... more
