  • Wonderful!

Last two podcasts with Shelly Lazarus and Jeff Goodby were home runs! Wondering if the theme music is original to the podcast or is it commercially available?

  • Marketing Magic!

Ad Age and their incredible guests talk all things advertisement, not only providing insight we wouldn't have otherwise, but also giving businesses the tools they need to get hands-on with their own marketing. The best part is it all comes from truly engaging individuals that know the industry inside and out. Thanks so much for putting out such a spectacular show Ad Age - keep up the great work!

  • Don’t see the Lib in Ad Lib

Full disclosure, I’ve only listened to one episode so take this as you will, but the interview with Vox sounded more like unchallenged talking points read from a press release than an unguarded, casual jargon-free conversation. Ad Age has a long successful history and I want to see them succeed but I would suggest to either adjust the name to reflect what this is or truly dig and challenge their guests.

  • Big Fan - Podcast?

Genuinely enjoy this. Please keep up the great work. My only gripe is that there is not more, whether that be more frequent episodes or other podcast content from Adage. Although, it cannot be easy lining up the biggest names week in and week out. Thank you for producing this show.

How to win the Ad Age A-List, with Judann Pollack
Q: What surprised you about this year's winners or the list as a whole?
Independents dominated the top ten more than expected, and there was notable churn around holding company participation; Isle of Any's Creativity Agency of the Year win was surprising for being so young, signaling fresh paths to recognition.
How to win the Ad Age A-List, with Judann Pollack
Q: What matters most for winning the A-List beyond just growth—what aspects are weighed together?
The winning agency is usually well‑rounded: growth, new business, bold strategic moves, diversification of client base, culture, and, of course, creative excellence, with all these elements contributing to a holistic story.
How to win the Ad Age A-List, with Judann Pollack
Q: Philosophical question for you, Judy: Why do industry awards matter and why should our listeners care about the A-List?
Awards matter as a real tool for new business momentum and internal culture validation; being recognized can lead to new opportunities, attract better talent, and signal a strong value proposition to clients, though it's important that the story behind the numbers is credible.
How to win new business in 2026, with Brian Bonilla
Q: What makes an agency really pop in the new business market beyond just claiming a specialty like Out of Home or Social?
Two things: first, the ability to lead with a social strategy within broader campaigns rather than treating social as an afterthought; second, having a credible AI integration or education offering that helps clients build internal capabilities and understand how to deploy new tools.
How to win new business in 2026, with Brian Bonilla
Q: What are you seeing right now in the current new business marketplace or what are you hearing is going on that may be different than recent years?
The market is seeing more account reviews early in the year driven by economic shifts, greater client willingness to explore new agency partners, and a push for agencies to act as true partners with research-driven capabilities and more specialized rosters.
