伊黨大會在週二落幕，這次目標明確地喊出下屆要議席翻倍的目標，不但鎖定彭亨、霹靂和雪蘭莪，同時也明言會派華裔和印裔候選人上陣。這為國大黨和馬華脫離國陣鋪路，而兩黨的動向也值得關注。吉打大臣沙努西也不點名地嗆友黨說，伊黨出錢出人力，盟黨不要以為只要上陣就能當領袖，這可能揭露基本盤同為馬來票的土團和伊黨嫌隙漸深。同時，伊黨宣傳主任建議要設立學院栽培親伊黨的網紅，網絡宣傳戰可能會更讓團結政府被壓在地上磨擦了。

國會下議院會議上週落幕，本期先來講已經通過的《零工工作者法案》。新加坡的這個法案是保障平台工作者，但本國的範圍更廣，除了傳統定義上的Grab司機和送餐員，也涵蓋非平台工作者，包括影視工作者、照護人員、化妝師造型師、翻譯和兼職記者等。
其實零工工作者最主要訴求還是薪資，包括Grab司機不滿意目前的酬勞，這點法案裡面有設置協商理事會（majlis rundingan）可以制定行業的最低費率或收入，但這點其實很容易像大企業裡面的「內部公會」被招安。因此，我是認為身為勞工權益之一的罷工權，也應該被列入... more
本集主要是分享8月23日的IDEAS Liberalism Conference的精彩內容。會上有分享未公開的調查結果說，國人其實對民主化的接受度並不是很好，其中落實改革最大阻力來自馬來群體，但如果換成較「稀釋」的版本，或是轉換策略改為強調價值，國人的接受度會比較好，也提到公民組織是否因此該轉換策略。
另外，會上也討論了政治教育的好與壞，以及馬來青年在看反對黨地區無法獲得選區撥款這件事時，其實是以「中央忽略地方」的角度而不是種族角度來看，這或許是種族主義開始悄悄減少的契機？
