Gil does an excellent job. 5 Star podcast
I love this podcast! The host brings a fresh and relatable perspective on biblical stories with his background in writing/story telling, being a native Hebrew speaker, and not being a specialized academic (but using information from academics). I love that he posts links to information in the show notes and his humor is icing on the proverbial cake! 🤌🏼
A Great Applause for Gil Kidron!
I’m a Jewish scholar of Persian background and came across your podcast by chance and I want to express my appreciation and admiration for your amazing contributions alongside your humble sense of your approach despite your profound biblical knowledge! You’re simply amazing! כל הכבוד
Gil Kidron is doing work that shames (or should shame, if they have any) so-called biblical scholars. He reads the original text of Torah, as written, in Hebrew, and makes obvious connections between the stories and the current events at the time they were written down. In the process he restores the humanity of the Bible’s authors and our connection to them. Oh, also, good juju all day long!!
I love everything about this podcast. The presenters the production the topics. The research that goes into this in the presentation. Always interesting. Great job. A listener from Raleigh, NC, USA
