  • Good, not great

Anna presents a good level of detail but on fairly select cases, it’s also fair to say there is a strong female bias here both in terms of cases covered and the way in which it is done… I’ve listened to nearly all in the last month and I can’t think of any cases where this wasn’t the way it is presented. Also in a couple of cases Anna names family members of the convicted then in others she is very careful about not doing so which seemed unfair to me. It clearly has a media based bias to it and ... more

  • Little and often is the way to go

Really quite enjoyable podcast. The kind you can dip in and out of as the mood takes you. One thing that I’ve noticed is that Anna says bought when she means brought e.g. when detailing sentences she’ll say ‘discount for good character which bought the sentence down to…’. A small point I know but strange for a senior journo of long standing.
