青谷駅はまだ鳥取市内で、次の泊駅までは距離があります。倉吉を通り、下北条にくるとやっと多めの下車がありました。
ここで長時間停車します。
鳥取からは米子行きの普通列車に乗ります。
2両編成ですが、学生がかなり乗っており、予想以上に長距離の通学の人が多いです。
浜坂からはキハ121系の単行に乗ります。
運転本数もここから鳥取まではだいぶ減ります。
滝部から鳥取の間が13分くらいかかるなど山越えもあるせいでしょう。
香住海岸を少し歩いたのち浜坂行きに乗ります。こちらはキハ47の2両編成で、バスツアーの人が乗っています。餘部まで乗って、餘部鉄橋を見ながらバスに乗り換えるようです。
撮影で訪れる人でにぎわってましたが、餘部からは列車内はすっかり空いてきます。
