There is no magic wand or a secret quick fix to get your dream job in Hollywood. Every personal story is different, but all have one thing in common: hard work and very interesting experiences. I really enjoyed the interview with Assistant Director Scottie Gissel! You don't often get a chance to hear from people behind the scenes in production that make everything possible, so this was really great!
2 Degrees of Alie has two big things going for it. One, it’s a focused podcast with a specific topic: how individuals were able to break into show business. And two, Alie does what few other podcast proprietors do: she actually lets the shows be about her guests rather than herself. Sure, she brings personal experience to the table and sure, guests are allowed to talk about other things as they come to mind, but all and all this a streamlined product that is both educational and entertaining. Really enjoyed the Brian Stack and Brian McCann interview. Dove right into the questions you want answered, but naturally and let the funny ensue.
Alie's podcast is really unique. As a member of the crew at Conan, she has access to some great guests to talk about how they got in the business. I liked her latest interview with Brian McCann and Brian Stack. Got into who they are, how they think and how they broke in. Well worth your time!
I'm a big fan of any content that helps people break into the industry,
Uses her great sense of humor while interviewing successful entertainers' stories on working in the industry. Good for info., inspiration and a laugh! And who could resist that giggle?
Great content and questions with the writers/actors of Conan. Can't wait to hear more interviews!
I have been a fan of this lady forever. Anything she touches is comedy gold. From the tvguide letter theatre to this endeavor, podcasting genius. Listen and enjoy! :)
Alie's a bright light, a fun beacon of in a sea of darkness filled with thousands of serpents shouting "Hey, everybody, check out MY podcast!"
This is perfect for people who are interested in a career in comedy or television. And even if you're not, it's still awesome to listen to everyone's stories about how they've worked their way into the industry. Can't wait to hear more!
It starts off with a cute and catchy theme song and dives right into conversation with her guests. Awesome stories! And love the outro theme, too :)
