We were asked “what exactly is the point of this show?”Answer: social media is an underutilized tool by police. Not just police, but firefighters, DA’s, nurses, military, ambulance, teachers; front liners. This show is designed to reveal the full potential of true communication through long discussion format. This will give a voice to these professions that often go unheard from those that do it. ... more

  • I can't find it

I can't find your "from tarot reading to tactical reality" episode that I'm listening to so I can watch it on YouTube. I don't understand why it's so difficult to find specific episodes that I'm listening to on Apple podcast.

  • Great Show

I found your show and started listening from the beginning. I am on Dec. 2022 right now. I listen while I'm patrolling around my city, normally for the better part of my 12 hour shift. I heard you say in the last episode that some don't listen because you have criminals on there. I am writing this to give my opinion on that. First of all, the "criminals" that I have heard were wrongfully convicted. Second of all, most are capable of changing. I do believe in having the felon label depending on t... more

  • I still haven't figured it out

I can't figure out how to find the videos of your podcasts that I'm listening to on Apple podcast. I go to your YouTube channel and look for the title under the videos and the live tabs and it's not there. I am specifically looking for the video of the one with you, Banning and Daniel. On this podcast it is called the police news interview with Daniel. I have noticed that many times you don't title your videos the same as your Apple podcast episode and that is very frustrating.

  • If this is true

The law needs changed if it is true that the legal definition of murder is killing with intent. Morally and biblically, innocent has always been included with this definition. "Thou shall not murder" would mean a completely different thing if justification is irrelevant. Killing of an armed intruder is not murder, but a justified killing. Hearing her definition made me question her intelligence and put fear in me. Please tell me she misspoke or is an idiot. Maybe she's just using a leftist state... more

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

COPS Legend Jerry Worms Reveals Nunchuck Tactics and Policing Evolution
Q: What was the rationale for carrying nunchucks on duty and how did training work?
Nunchucks, or flex batons, were adopted to keep on the belt to reduce the number of items a deputy had to grab when exiting a vehicle and to provide leverage and control in confrontations; certification was offered via a 20-hour class with annual recertification.
How A First Amendment Auditor Sparked Real Police Training And Hard Truths
Q: Do you think police are necessary?
Yes, but with a nuanced view: they are necessary for specific high-risk tasks, but there should be more emphasis on rights education, checks and balances, and civilian oversight to prevent abuses.
29 Years Wrongfully Convicted: Bruce Bryan’s Journey With Cops Who Listen
Q: How long did Bruce Bryan stay in prison before his case was heard?
Bruce spent the first 13 months on Rikers Island without seeing a judge, and overall about 30 months before conviction; the process was extremely drawn out and traumatic.
Your Brain Is Not A GoPro, And That’s Why Courtrooms Get Videos Wrong
Q: What is de-escalation in practice and how is it evaluated?
De-escalation involves time, conditions, and the use of communication to reduce risk; it's evaluated against human performance and policy rather than an ideal of perfect restraint, recognizing that some individuals will not de-escalate regardless of effort.
Your Brain Is Not A GoPro, And That’s Why Courtrooms Get Videos Wrong
Q: How does video evidence affect courtroom outcomes?
Video is powerful but context matters; body cams don't capture an officer's full perceptual experience, and frame rates can create gaps. Eyetracking reveals what officers actually see and focus on, which helps explain decisions but video alone can mislead without expert interpretation.
