  • Jaguars Today

The show used to get uploaded every day on time all the time when Dylan was the producer. Since he left, the show is constantly uploaded very late. The shows on later in day get uploaded before this one. Annoying.

  • The Drill

The Drill with Jeff, Dan, and ET is the best show on the station and it is not even close. It has the perfect mix of sports talk, great guests/callers, and many hilarious discussions about topics other than sports. I listen to the entire show every day on demand.

I also enjoy the Friday Night Lights show with Hacker and Gibby and the 5th Quarter after every Jag game with Hacker, Leon, and Coach Campo.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Jaguars Today 4-29-2026
Q: What were your impressions of the Jaguars' draft picks this year?
Shipley explains that while the Jaguars value older, versatile players and seek culture and scheme fit, there is still uncertainty about which top picks will pan out; the conversation highlights a strategic preference for players who can contribute across multiple roles, especially in run blocking and versatility.
Hacker After Dark 4-30-26
Q: What is the value proposition of the two tight ends drafted by Jacksonville, and how might they impact the offense?
The hosts and Duffner explain that the two tight ends could enhance 13 personnel packages and matchup challenges for defenses, while also acknowledging the blocking limitations of one pick; the conversation centers on how these players can contribute beyond traditional roles and whether they can become reliable pass-catching threats.
Hacker After Dark 4-30-26
Q: Is the Jaguars' draft strategy fairly evaluated against consensus boards, and what is the reasoning behind the mid-round picks like Borgescher and Regis?
The guests discuss the idea that consensus boards are a useful tool but should not dictate every pick; they emphasize context, scheme fit, and long-term potential, noting that the Jaguars may have valued players who fit their system and depth needs even if those players were not top-rated on consensus boards.
The Drill w/Dan Hicken & ET 04-30-26
Q: What are Tony Buscelli's thoughts on the Jaguars' draft strategy?
He believes the front office has a clear, aggressive plan and that the team's aggressive moves could pay off if the players develop as expected; he also discusses the potential benefits of a non-traditional approach.
Into the Night with Rick Ballou 4-22-26
Q: What impact could Jadarian Price have if the Jaguars move up in the draft?
Damian Parson explains that Price's potential depends on how his medicals check out and where he falls; the Jaguars would only move up significantly if they believe Price can contribute immediately, otherwise they may stay put to avoid overpaying.
