Hi, I am your host Siddhartha! I have been an entrepreneur from 2012-2017 building two products AddoDoc and Babygogo. After selling my company to SHEROES, I and my partner Nansi decided to start up again. But we felt unequipped in our skillset in 2018 to build a large company. We had known 0-1 journey from our startups but lacked the experience of building 1-10 journeys.

Hence was born the Neon S... more

  • Serious probability flaw in Dilsher’s 29 June episode

To be considered towards a game of skill on the skill-luck spectrum, Dilsher says that the probability of someone winning 90% of games is very less. Hence, it is a game of skill!

Well, there isn’t just one user of the app. Given, n users (let’s say 1 lakh), you need to multiple the user level probability with entire sample to get the number of users.

Even if all 1 lakh users were just betting on 10 coin tosses (ie 10 games), 1% will win 90% of the games. (10/1024)

    That is 1000 users.

The team demonstrated deep technical understanding, delivered a compelling technical evaluation with benchmarks, and maintained transparent, collaborative discussions that built trust. The dinner-style closing process with Ashish from Sierra Ventures helped finalize terms swiftly.
The First AI Market With 8 Billion Potential Users | Sudarshan kamath, Smallest AI
Q: Why did you decide to flip incorporation to the US and pursue a global model?
The decision was driven by the need for global capital access, talent, and customer reach. Establishing a US entity streamlined fundraising, improved credibility with global customers, and enabled scale through partnerships with Fortune 1000 companies, while allowing continued operations in India.
AI Needs to Know Why You Took THAT decision | Ashu Garg, Investor at Foundation Capital
Q: Can you dive deeper into the orchestration layer and why startups might win there?
The orchestration layer is where decisions are coordinated across agents; startups can win by providing robust orchestration capabilities, memory management, and guardrails to prevent hallucinations, enabling scalable, safe automation.
AI Needs to Know Why You Took THAT decision | Ashu Garg, Investor at Foundation Capital
Q: Where will the context graph reside in organizations—the data lake, cloud providers, or a mix, and how should startups position themselves in this ecosystem?
Ashu explains that context graphs will reside in multiple places depending on function and organization, with many context graphs per large company and interoperability across systems; startups should focus on enabling infrastructure and interoperability, while incumbents may shift data architectures.
AI Needs to Know Why You Took THAT decision | Ashu Garg, Investor at Foundation Capital
Q: What are your views on whether the first large application of context graphs will be vertical or horizontal, and which will win eventually?
Ashu argues that success will come from multiple paths; there will be both horizontal and vertical winners, with a trillion-dollar opportunity distributed across many players rather than a single winner.
