I stuck with it because I wanted to see how the story evolved. It was an ok story but the actors are the worst part of this whole podcast. You can tell they’re reading and they don’t act out their lines at all, it’s just flat reading. It almost sounds like they’re working out the script at a table read and decided to record it.
It peaked my curiosity, and quickly become addicted. I really enjoy the characters. I understand that there’s this arc going on, which is fine but the episodic nature of it is great.
This has some quirks or weaknesses as other reviewers have noted I will admit to agreeing with some of them. I pushed through them as the overall story was entertaining enough. Here is why the 3-star review, I get it 2020 sucked but to abandon a story/podcast with no explanation or update is is not acceptable IMO. I’m truly in love with it for multiple reasons and have recommended to all of my fellow podcast lovers. Not even just on a storytelling perspective , which is brilliant , really the pacing and character development is excellent, but the sound effects/recording is fantastic. R... more
Started well but the second series was a let- down for me. Why on Earth did they decide to opt for comedy ?
