I stuck with it because I wanted to see how the story evolved. It was an ok story but the actors are the worst part of this whole podcast. You can tell they’re reading and they don’t act out their lines at all, it’s just flat reading. It almost sounds like they’re working out the script at a table read and decided to record it.
It peaked my curiosity, and quickly become addicted. I really enjoy the characters. I understand that there’s this arc going on, which is fine but the episodic nature of it is great.
This has some quirks or weaknesses as other reviewers have noted I will admit to agreeing with some of them. I pushed through them as the overall story was entertaining enough. Here is why the 3-star review, I get it 2020 sucked but to abandon a story/podcast with no explanation or update is is not acceptable IMO. Even IF this is the case there is enough people involved a one minute update goes a long way.
I’ve had a pretty rough month, and this podcast ( which I binged in less then a week, catching up on hours of audio on my road trip from Michigan to California ) really cheered me up & has easyily become my comfort podcast. I’m truly in love with it for multiple reasons and have recommended to all of my fellow podcast lovers. Not even just on a storytelling perspective , which is brilliant , really the pacing and character development is excellent, but the sound effects/recording is fantastic. R... more
Started well but the second series was a let- down for me. Why on Earth did they decide to opt for comedy ?
I saw a recommendation for this Podcast and got HOOKED! It is part investigative journalist and part sci-fi and ALL cryptid. I wish it had continued as I loved the direction it was going.
I miss this podcast SO MUCH! Amazing character and world building, great script, great plot, and I just wish I knew what was gonna happen with the Aquarium! Y'all are amazing!
I really like it and how the transitioned from season 1 to season 2. Acting and production are good
