「我爸的過世，是在拍周公的時候。」清萱回憶起那通突然的電話。「下班回家了，忽然接到電話，我媽媽說我爸在醫院，我就趕快叫我弟一起回去，因為聽起來就是很緊急。我還帶了電腦跟兩套衣服，想說要回去陪病。因為已經很晚了，11點吧沒有高鐵，就是直接坐計程車，從板橋坐回台中，3000多塊。我跟我弟，他還先去把他的器材交接給同事，因為他們明天還要拍周美玲導演的東西，他還說有一定要回去嗎？我說一定要。然後就在上車的，瞬間，我媽就打來說走了。所以那整趟車程就是一直在哭。」
