This is one of those rare shows that avoids buzzwords and focuses on real learning. Great for marketing veterans and beginners alike. I love it!
I spend a lot of time in the world of emotional marketing, so it’s refreshing to get into the weeds of how things actually work.
It got me thinking differently about paid, attribution, and how we actually measure impact. Not just theory either. Real, practical takeaways I can apply right away.
If you’re new to marketing, start here. Even if you’re not, it’ll still challenge your thinking.
We need more of this.
Amanda’s original analysis of how marketing works in 2026 — or if you’re seeing this in 2027, 2028 and beyond— is grounded in traditional, common sense ideas that are overlooked because they seem so traditional. But Amanda finds ways of teasing out new truths and strategies from the tried and true. And that’s how she uncovers what’s next and how to approach it.
I really like listening to business podcasts but most of them are too long. It’s hard to commit to them when really, I’d rather be watching Good Hang. I just really love how short and efficient this show is. Amanda clearly puts a lot of thought and research into each ep so it’s easily worth the 15 or so minutes.
Amanda has always understood marketing at that sweet spot of humanity, business, and technology, and I have personally benefitted from her ideas for years. Her ideas are so very needed by business builders and marketers tired of the hamster wheel feeling.

The show centers on practical marketing strategies that prioritize audience insight and credible, research-backed concepts over traditional click-driven metrics. Across episodes, listeners hear candid discussions about emotional targeting in B2B, shrinking marketing stacks, gated content in a zero-click era, and how to structure content for AI-enabled discovery. A recurring theme is building trust, measuring influence beyond last-click attribution, and shaping the public record with verifiable evidence. Notable standouts include field-tested frameworks, real-world case studies, and a clear emphasis on audience-first approaches that blend research, storytelling, and product thinking. The format often features guest experts who bring hands-on... more
