戦後81年となり、戦争を実際に経験した方のお話を直接聞ける機会は年々少なくなっています。
今回はお坊さんとしてお参りに伺う中で、私が実際に聞かせていただいた当時子供だった香川の三人の戦争体験をご紹介します。

葉ごぼうをご存じでしょうか。
ごぼうといえば根を食べる野菜というイメージがありますが、香川県では葉や茎まですべていただく郷土の食べ物です。
本来の旬は年明け後の１月から３月ごろで、私は毎年、ご門徒さんから葉ごぼうをいただいています。
ですが、今年は「自分でも育ててみよう」と思い、春に種をまいて夏の収穫に挑戦してみました。
ところが梅雨明けから雨がまったく降らず、暑さも続いてうまくいきませんでした。
